Barbara Lee for Senate campaign continues to gain momentum

Campaign Releases Statement Regarding Second Quarter Fundraising Totals

Congresswoman Barbara Lee’s campaign for United States Senate announced today that Congresswoman Lee has raised $2.1 million in her campaign for Senate, adding more than $1 million in the second quarter alone.

The latest fundraising totals add to the momentum that continues to build around Congressmember Lee’s inspirational campaign and we are confident that thanks to the support of so many Californians, the Congressmember will have the resources necessary to run a winning campaign. Even more important than fundraising numbers, however, is the incredible enthusiasm Congresswoman Lee continues to receive from voters throughout the state. Congresswoman Lee has already amassed the support of more than 100 trusted elected leaders from across California – including five of California’s statewide elected officials, more than any other candidate in the race. Her list of prestigious endorsers includes Attorney General Rob Bonta, Treasurer Fiona Ma, Controller Malia Cohen, Secretary of State Shirley Weber, Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, progressive leaders like Congressman Ro Khanna, and one of the earliest significant labor endorsements in the race from the Alameda County Building and Construction Trades Council.

We are excited about the growing enthusiasm for Congresswoman Lee’s campaign for Senate and look forward to the campaign ahead, including the Congresswoman’s visits next week with voters throughout the Central Valley and Southern California.
